He completed his Doctorate Victor Papilian” Faculty of Medicine in Sibiu, Romania – (Actualities in colic replacement of the esophagus – PhD thesis). He is the Member of "Romanian Society of Thoracic Surgery 1994” Tresurer of the Society since 2009, Member of “Romanian Association for Minimal Invasive Thoracic Surgery”, "European Society of Thoracic Surgeons”, "Romanian Society of Pneumology".

Dr. Francesco Izzo received his medical degree from the University of Naples, Federico II Medical School, Italy. Dr. Izzo has been on the faculty in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute of Naples, Italy since completing his fellowship. He is now Associate Professor of Surgery, Responsible and Coordinator of the Hepatobiliary Surgery and chief of Liver Tumor Study Group at the National Cancer Institute of Naples, Italy. Dr. Izzo has been a pioneer in designing new treatments for patients with liver tumors, including radiofrequency ablation, improved techniques for surgical removal of liver cancers, and several types of direct tumor injection therapy.

Kent Choung Choi, became a trauma/critical care attending at the University of Iowa following his fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Washington University 2001, currently serve as the surgical director in the SICU at the University of Iowa since 2005. He established and currently direct an ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship as well as the Director in the Division of Acute Care Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Dr. Lupascu Cristian Dumitru Completed his PhD in 1999 on General Surgery.He was awarded with 1-st price of "Societe Francaise d ? Oncologie" and "Association Francaise de Chirurgie Oncologique" with the original paper:" La thermonecrose des tumours hepatiques nonresecables aux vapeurs d ?eau surchauffes" in 2005.

Mihail-Gabriel Dimofte is Senior Reader in General Surgery at University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr.T. Popa” Iasi and consultant surgeon in University Hospital “St. Spiridon” Iasi. He is a Member of the Center for Research in General and Laparoscopic Surgery - Iasi, Romania, Member in Scientific research teams in 2 CNCSIS Research Grants and 1 CEEX Research Grant, Romanian Society of Surgeons, Society of Physicians and Natural Sciences – Iasi, Romanian Society of Endoscopy, International Association of Surgeons Gastroenterologists and Oncologists, International Federation of European Societies of Digestive Surgery, International Society of Surgeons.
